April 30--for the 4th spring in a row--we celebrated Phil's Day all over the University of Iowa campus.
"Phil," short for "philanthropy," is the nickname we use to refer to the generous alumni and friends who make donations to support the UI, as well as the difference all those gifts make to the university. If you have made a donation to the university or have been the beneficiary of a gift to the UI, you are Phil. If you weren't able to join us, check out the Phil's Day website to learn more about the celebration and watch the Life With Phil talk by Jerre Stead (1965 B.B.A.).
