The Iowa Register of Accountability
The Iowa Register of Accountability, which appears on the web site of the University of Iowa's Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center, is a listing of nonprofit organizations that have committed themselves to sound management, ethical conduct, public accountability, and continuous improvement as defined in the Iowa Principles and Practices for Charitable Nonprofit Excellence. The Principles and Practices, which were developed by the Iowa Governor's Nonprofit Task Force to demonstrate Iowa nonprofit organizations' concerted efforts toward efficient, effective, and ethical operation, have been unanimously endorsed and adopted by the UI Foundation Board of Directors.
