Annual Giving
Annual gifts strengthen every single area of The University of Iowa and enhance the UI experience for every student. You can direct your sustaining annual gift—of any size—to the UI department, program, or college you choose to support. These gifts provide crucial unrestricted funds: a pool of resources that can be quickly and easily used by UI colleges and other units to address opportunities and challenges that fall outside of normal budgeting parameters.
The UI's “I Fund Iowa” program raises support each year for the University's colleges and academic programs, and all other UI areas (such as Hancher Auditorium, the UI Museum of Art, Pentacrest Museums, UI athletics, UI Hospitals and Clinics, UI Libraries, International Programs, and other non-collegiate areas) have their own development funds as well.
You may contribute to any of these funds by:
- Making a gift online now
- Responding to a mail appeal
- Responding to a Telefund call from a UI student
- Establishing payroll deduction (for UI faculty and staff)
- Establishing an electronic funds transfer, which authorizes the automatic transfer of funds each month from your checking or savings account
