Johnson County I-Club Breakfast: The Johnson County I-Club hosts the Friday morning breakfasts featuring Head Coach Kirk Ferentz prior to all home football games. All Hawkeye fans are welcome to attend and start their football weekend out with the Hawkeye Marching Band, cheerleaders, and Herky. At the October 21 breakfast, head basketball coach Steve Alford introduced Coach Ferentz. In addition, Jason White, Iowa baseball student-athlete, was presented with the Marshall Stewart Memorial Scholarship. Darrell Wyrick, president emeritus of the UI Foundation, led the crowd in the I-O-W-A cheer, which is shouted from the four corners of the stadium after an Iowa touchdown. The Friday breakfasts are a great way to get fired up for a Hawkeye football game!
