The Campus Campaign
Good. Better. Best. Words that describe how the faculty and staff—those at the heart of The University of Iowa—strive to make this the best possible place to learn, work, live, and grow.
These words also characterize the spirit and goals of The Campaign to Advance Our Great University—a seven-year fundraising effort that will support the UI and enable its people to excel in the 21st century.
At the UI, faculty and staff have always led the way—in the classroom and the laboratory, in research and administration, in technical services and office support. Now we can take part in a campaign to secure the University's future and provide resources that will directly affect the quality of our work and working environment.

PARTICIPATE!
The focus of our Campus Campaign will not be on how much we give, but how many of us show our support by giving.
As faculty and staff, we can show our commitment simply by participating.
It's important to keep in mind that everyone in the campus community has an opportunity to make a difference.
Our message will be a strong one if we can achieve an unprecedented level of campus-wide participation.

"Gift support from the campus community will not only help the University attain its critically important campaign goals, but will send a strong message of approval for the University's plans and aspirations for the future.
"When those of us who are closest to the UI demonstrate our belief in this campaign and what it will accomplish, alumni and friends around the country will find it easier to pledge their own support."

TOMORROW, TODAY
Funding new scholarships for deserving students. Creating more endowed faculty chairs and professorships. Establishing development funds to reward and retain our best staff.
Building state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning. Endowing research programs that may solve the riddles of disease. Extending arts and humanities programs into every corner of the state.
Good. Better. Best. Iowa will help assure that UI students, faculty, staff, and the society we serve are well-prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
