• Student Scholarships. As you may be aware, tuition has increased dramatically over the past few years -- though Iowa still offers the lowest tuition across all Big Ten dentistry colleges. Your support provides scholarships that help ensure that motivated and talented students can pursue their degrees here.
• Facilities. The college's facilities -- including the Simulation Clinic -- continue to be a source of pride. The Simulation Clinic remains one of the most heavily used teaching facilities in the college and provides invaluable, hands-on learning. Private support helps us maintain and improve our facilities and keep up with the rapid advancements in our field.
• Faculty Support. The college has a faculty of experts in general dentistry and across all of the specialty areas. Your ongoing support helps faculty do their best work at the UI, supporting everything from the development of new curriculum to the pursuit of important research.
• Special Programs. Your gift also supports special programs -- such as the Geriatric Mobile Unit -- that not only provide invaluable training for students, but also extend the reach of the college into the community to offer care to thousands of Iowans each year.
