For more than 65 years, the National I-Club has encouraged financial support for men's and women's intercollegiate athletics at The University of Iowa. The I-Club provides recognition for contributors to the Hawkeye Fund and Iowa Scholarship Fund.

Iowa fans are renowned for helping the Hawkeyes with enthusiastic presence in the stands and strong financial support. With your support, the Hawkeyes can continue this proud tradition and reach new goals. It's great to be a Hawkeye!

New officers elected to the National I-Club board
The National I-Club board held its annual meeting in June, where Kevin Krause was elected board president for 2005-06. The National I-Club Board and the Iowa Women's Athletic Development Board serve as advisory boards for the University of Iowa Foundation's athletic fund-raising programs.

I-Club events
Golden Harvest golf outing and banquet -- August 6
Calling all Hawk fans! Join us for shotgun-start golf at Finkbine, tours of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, a reception, and a dinner banquet with Coach Kirk Ferentz.

Kinnick Society Dinner -- September 16
This special event is held each fall at a surprise location, places like the basketball court in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and Kinnick's end zone. I-Club members who contribute at the Kinnick Society level will receive invitations to the event in August.

Hawkeye Huddles
Make travel plans now for the 2005 away football games and attend the free pre-game Hawkeye Huddles, sponsored by The Gazette e-Edition and Iowa.com.

2005 Spring Banquet season a great success
More than 8,000 enthusiastic Hawkeye fans attended nearly 30 events across the Midwest this spring, along with Iowa coaches, staff, and student-athletes. Watch the I-Club web site for events in your community throughout the year.
