This season, as our team takes the field for each home game in beautifully restored Kinnick Stadium, I'm reminded more than ever of something we all know to be true: It's great to be a Hawkeye!

The outpouring of support during the Kinnick Stadium Renovation Campaign from Iowa fans -- for our student-athletes, our program, and the proud tradition of University of Iowa athletics -- did more than make the stadium renovation project campaign a success. It strengthened a legacy of commitment to the black and gold that will inspire future generations.

Your gifts and your cheers make you, the legendary Iowa Hawkeye fans, our 12th man on the field.

On behalf of everyone associated with Iowa football and all the other first-class Hawkeye teams that benefit from I-Club support and from your passion, thank you for being there for us -- and GO HAWKS!
