Happy New Year! As fans and supporters of University of Iowa athletics, we can all be proud of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff who worked so hard in 2007 to make it great to be a Hawkeye. Among many other highlights, the UI field hockey team -- Big Ten Tournament champions for the second consecutive year -- epitomized the spirit and dedication of the young women and men who wear the black and gold in competition while also excelling academically.
As we begin 2008, we hope you will join your fellow Hawkeye fans in Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the Field House for our exciting winter sports. And if you're not yet an I-Club member, we encourage you to amplify your cheers in the stands by making a gift to join the I-Club and support scholarships and so much more.

Members of the National I-Club, past members, and season ticket holders: Please watch your mail in early February for the annual I-Club membership reminder, or make your contribution online today for the 2008 athletic giving year (which extends from July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008). Tickets for Big Ten tournaments available
Reserve your tickets today for the following Big Ten tournaments and help cheer the Hawkeyes to victory!
Women's basketball: March 6-9, Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis. Deadline for ticket purchase through the UI Athletic Ticket Office is January 25. Call (800) 424-2957 to order your tickets.
Men's basketball: March 13-16, Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis. Current season ticket holders should have received an application from the UI Athletic Ticket Office, which is due by January 15.
Wrestling: March 8-9, Minneapolis.To purchase all-session tickets for the 2008 Big Ten Wrestling Championship, contact the Minnesota ticket office or call (800) U-Gopher. Indicate that you wish to be seated within the Iowa section (as available).
Huddle up at the Big Ten basketball tournaments in Indianapolis
Fans traveling to Indianapolis for either the men or women's Big Ten basketball tournaments in March are invited to the Hawkeye Huddles prior to each tournament game for the Hawkeyes!
The Hawkeye Huddles will be held at Jillian's, just two blocks from Conseco Fieldhouse. The Huddles are hosted by the National I-Club and the UI Alumni Association and sponsored by Gazette Online, KCRG TV9, and Liberty Mutual.
I-Club golf outing in Florida
Bring the black and gold to the greens! Join fellow Hawkeye fans at Wildcat Run in Fort Myers for the 13th annual Hawkeye Florida Golf Classic on Monday, February 4, 2008. Shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. with reception and program following. Print and mail your reservation today!
