Your gifts to the Engineering Excellence Fund will support an educational environment that supports and challenges students -- not just academically, but also personally -- by providing opportunities such as:

• Leadership events like the college's Student Leadership Institute, an off-campus weekend seminar in which students explore real-world challenges and consider leadership issues such as professional ethics, self-motivation, group dynamics, and diversity in the workplace.
• Engineering Excellence Scholarships, which can make college more accessible for a student of limited financial means, or encourage a remarkable student to choose Iowa over other prestigious schools.
• The Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate -- the first of its kind in any U.S. engineering college -- which enables students to study the entrepreneurial process as it relates to technology. This interdisciplinary program teaches students how to bridge engineering and business principles, a real advantage for succeeding in today's competitive marketplace.
