Graduate College
With oversight of more than 100 graduate programs throughout The University of Iowa, the UI Graduate College plays an essential role in preparing advanced students for academic and career success.
Approximately 25 percent of UI students are registered in the Graduate College, working with almost 1,700 faculty, and more than 20 percent of UI degrees awarded annually are conferred by the college.
Many of the UI's graduate programs rank within the top 25 percent of programs in their disciplines nationally, and UI advanced-degree holders influence their professions in important ways, both at the UI and around the nation and world.
Private support will help the Graduate College better serve its students and the academic and professional communities by sparking development of innovative programming, helping the UI attract and retain top-quality students, and supporting faculty in teaching and research.
