Since its debut in 1972, the University of Iowa’s Hancher has become the state’s leading arts presenter and is among the leading university-based arts presenters in the nation.
More than 4 million patrons have experienced Hancher performances, and more than 20,000 children from across Iowa participate each year in its arts-education programs. Even as Hancher is without a building as it recovers from the 2008 flood that devastated the UI’s arts campus, its innovative programming continues at venues throughout the community–and when it reopens its doors, it will not have missed a beat. Your support is important to Hancher and all it serves.

Hancher Circle donors should feel great satisfaction in knowing their gifts support every aspect of Hancher operations, from ensuring the excellence of its programming, to providing enrichment through arts education opportunities, to building community by sharing performing arts experiences with friends, family, and neighbors. Thank you!.
