Iowa Impact Fund
The Iowa Impact Fund is the UI's only campus-wide unrestricted fund, providing the University with the most important type of resources -- those that can be used whenever and wherever the need is greatest. Without these resources, many important initiatives would not be possible.
Friends and alumni who make annual gifts to the Iowa Impact Fund have maximum impact throughout the UI because they help provide the greatest flexibility so the University may attain its goals of excellence in:
- Facilitating student career-development and professional-development programs
- Encouraging innovations in teaching and learning across disciplinary boundaries
- Providing seed funding for graduate and professional programs that focus on emerging trends and disciplines
- Assisting the UI’s libraries and museums in seeking out and securing the best possible acquisitions and resources
- Enabling key information-technology enhancements and innovations
