International Programs (IP) leads the University of Iowa’s efforts to meet the increasingly international challenges of the 21st century.
Education must be globally oriented to prepare Iowans and students from throughout the country and throughout the world to move confidently across borders and to interact effectively with people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Each year more than 1,300 UI students study abroad in about 80 countries. In addition, more than 4,500 international students and scholars representing more than 100 nations annually come to the University of Iowa to learn. These international experiences, which prepare UI students for lives and careers in a globally interconnected world, are made possible by International Programs. Your support is important to International Programs and all it serves. Make your gift online now!
