of Iowa Foundation announces staff promotions

IOWA CITY -- The University of Iowa Foundation has
announced the promotion of 12 administrative and development officers
who play important roles in providing fund-raising services to all areas
of the university.
"These promotions reflect our desire to recognize outstanding performance
among some of our most experienced managers and directors," said Alan
Swanson, Senior Vice President, Communications and Administration. "The
foundation is working hard to attract, retain and reward top employees.
We believe these promotions will underscore the quality and enhance
the stability of our excellent staff."
On the foundation's five-member management group, Susan M. Shullaw of
Iowa City has been promoted from Associate Vice President to Vice President,
Communications and Campaign Support.
Other foundation staff members receiving promotions as of July 1, 2000,
include:
- Jana Egeland, Iowa City, from Associate Director
to Director of Development, Women's Intercollegiate Athletics
- Marianne Harney, Solon, from Support Services
Manager to Assistant Director, Administrative Support
- Matt Henderson, Iowa City, from Assistant
Director to Associate Director of Development, I-Club Events and Activities,
Intercollegiate Athletics
- Scott Johnson, Solon, from Records Supervisor/Technical
Research Assistant to Assistant Director, Development Records
- Kristin Loupee, Coralville, from Assistant
Director to Associate Director of Development, Annual and Special
Gifts, College of Liberal Arts
- Shannon Miller, Iowa City, from Associate
Director to Director of Development, College of Medicine/University
of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics
- Bryan Ringen, Iowa City, from System/Network
Manager to Assistant Director, Information Technology
- Kelli Roskopf, Solon, from Application Development
