UI Foundation
announces key staff changes

IOWA CITY -- The University of Iowa Foundation has
reassigned several key staff members in its continuing efforts to maximize
private support for all academic and non-academic areas of the UI.
Michael New, UI Foundation president, said, "These dedicated staff members
are among the foundation's most loyal and productive employees. When
the university's increasing need for advancement services provides opportunities
for staff growth, we're delighted to be able to promote from within."
Following are the foundation staff members and their reassignments:
- Laurie E. Comstock, who was Assistant
to the President/Administrative Associate, has accepted a position
as Director, Administrative Support.
- Helen M. Dailey, formerly Operations
and Levitt Center for University Advancement (LCUA) Events Manager,
is now Director, Facilities, LCUA Events and Distribution Services.
- Della L. McGrath is now Director,
Special Assignments. Her former position was Director, Support Services,
Operations and Project Management.
- David L. Triplett, formerly Director
of Development, College of Dentistry, has become Associate Director,
Gift Planning.
- William J. Windauer has become the
new Director of Development, College of Dentistry. His former position
was Director of Development, Henry B. Tippie College of Business.
- Deborah L. Woods, who currently serves
the UI Foundation as Gift Planning/Finance Support Manager, will become
Director of Donor Relations.
The UI Foundation is the preferred channel for
private contributions to all areas of the university. Foundation staff
work with alumni and friends to generate funds for scholarships, professorships,
facilities improvements, equipment purchases, research and other UI initiatives.
