UI Foundation announces staff promotions

IOWA CITY -- The University of Iowa Foundation has announced promotions for six administrative and development officers who provide fund-raising services to all areas of the university.
"These changes recognize outstanding performance among some of our most experienced managers and directors," said Alan Swanson, the foundation's senior vice president, development services. "The foundation works hard to attract and retain top employees. These changes are designed to underscore the quality and enhance the stability of our excellent staff."
Foundation staff members receiving promotions include:
- Danette Angerer, Coralville, from graphics manager to director, graphics services
- Anthony Arrington, Marion, from assistant to associate director, annual giving programs
- Marcos Esparza, Iowa City, from telefund program assistant to telefund supervisor
- Hilery Livengood, Cedar Rapids, from web administrator to director, web strategies
- Forrest Meyer, Coralville, from editorial manager to director, editorial services
- Anne Remington, Iowa City, from interim director to director, annual giving programs
In addition, Laurie Comstock, Iowa City; Mary Greiner, Williamsburg; and Steve Troester, Iowa City, were named to the foundation's extended management group.
