A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will follow the program.

The Russell and Ann Gerdin Athletic Learning Center is a state-of-the-art academic facility privately financed through contributions to the UI Foundation. The center will enable the UI Athletic Student Services office to fully integrate the athletic and academic development of more than 600 student-athletes each year.

The UI Foundation is acknowledged by the University of Iowa as a preferred channel for private contributions that benefit all areas of the university.
