Greiner, Hanick take key positions with UI Foundation

IOWA CITY -- The University of Iowa Foundation has a new human resources director and a new director of development for the UI's Hancher Auditorium and Museum of Art.

Mary L. Greiner of Williamsburg, Iowa, was recently appointed director, human resources. Patricia L. Hanick of Iowa City has been named the foundation's director of development for Hancher and the UI Museum of Art.
Certified as a Senior Professional Human Resources, Greiner came to the foundation from Toyota Financial Services in Cedar Rapids, where she had been human resources manager since 2001. Before that she held senior human resources management positions with McLeodUSA Incorporated in Cedar Rapids (1996 to 2001), Amana Appliances in Amana, Iowa (1990 to 1996) and Kelly Services Inc. in Iowa City (1989 to 1993). Greiner received a bachelor of general studies degree from the UI in 1987 and an employment law certificate from Drake University in 1999.

Pat Hanick |
Hanick was a program manager and project manager at ACT Inc. in Iowa City from 1997 until she joined the UI Foundation. She was also executive director of the Montessori School of Iowa City from 1989 to 1997. Hanick earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in physical education and dance from the UI in 1978 and 1984 respectively; she received her B.A. degree in 1969 from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.
The UI Foundation is acknowledged by the UI as a preferred channel for private contributions that benefit all areas of the university.
