The UI Foundation received one gold award, three silver awards and one bronze award in the competition, which attracted several hundred entries from educational organizations throughout the Midwest.
Photographs for a UI Foundation annual giving ad series won the gold award.
The three UI Foundation silver winners were I-Club E-News, an electronic newsletter for givers to University of Iowa athletics; a series of annual giving posters; and a photograph of the UI Philip D. Adler Journalism and Mass Communication Building.
Earning a bronze award was an invitation package for the Good. Better. Best. Iowa campaign victory celebration, which marked the successful completion of the University of Iowa's seven-year, $1 billion comprehensive campaign.
Current UI Foundation communications staff members who helped produce the five CASE V winners include: Danette Angerer, Nic Arp, Theresa Black, Richard Blazek, Connie Driscoll-Wicke, Betsy Hickok, Leah Klevar, Jen Knights, Tom Langdon, Hilery Livengood, Forrest Meyer, Susan Shullaw and Jill Tobin.
The UI acknowledges the UI Foundation as the preferred channel for private contributions that benefit all areas of the university. For more information about the foundation, visit its web site at www.uiowafoundation.org.
