IOWA CITY -- Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and art lovers gathered on Friday, September 8, 2006, for the dedication of Art Building West. The new $21.5 million facility comprises 70,000 square feet and sits on Riverside Drive next to a river bluff, with a portion of the building straddling the Hutchinson Quarry Pond.
Below are photos from the dedication day festivities.

A series of celebratory columns were set up by members of the 3D Design class.
