The College of Nursing is an integral part of the University of Iowa Health Sciences Center, sharing in and contributing to teaching, research, and patient care resources that have earned international recognition. According to U.S. News and World Report (March 2003), the College of Nursing is No. 1 in the nation for its Nursing Service Administration program, No. 4 for its Gerontological/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program, and No. 12 for the college's master's degree. The college's doctoral program is the first and only doctoral program in nursing in Iowa and one of only 53 in the nation. Read more
